Alternative Spring Break

Looking for something to do this Spring Break other than binge watching Netflix? We have just the thing for you!

The alternative spring break trip is an amazing opportunity to grow in your faith, serve others, or travel the world. Over the past decade, Newman has been taking students out of their comfort zones and challenging them to explore parts of their spirituality that they never have before. In past years, our group has traveled  to Mustard Seed Communities in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua.

This year CCM will be participating in the Legacy of Peter and Paul in Italy trip. The trip to Italy involves travel to Rome, Assisi, and Florence. REL 3SGI  is the 8 week course connect to the trip and it counts as a Humanities core class. To register go to the Study Abroad Office Website.  Deposits for the trip are due October 15

Please contact Nate Ediger, Fr. Vince Hawk, religion professor Dr. David Aune, or the Study Abroad Office if interested in this opportunity to travel to Rome.
